Laura & Elias – A Sydney Wedding

Laura and Elias we married on a beautiful sunny day in Sydney at the end of 2011. Just looking at their images reminds me of the fragrant smell of the massive Jacaranda tree they were married under and the salty air of Parsley Bay where they had their first look.

I met Laura and Elias two days before their wedding at Watsons Bay, we were getting together to have a little e-shoot and chat about their day. We walked, talked, enjoyed the views and got on so well, I left them to head home feeling like I had made two amazing new friends and so excited for their day. What I also loved was that for both Laura and Elias, their images were such an important part of their wedding and for avid photographer Laura, having a first look was a really important must do. They wanted to be sure that they got ample time both with their guests and also with each other for beautiful images.

Their first look took place at a little unknown spot in Sydney called Parsley Bay Reserve. The idea would be that Elias would be waiting there for Laura as she walked to him across the beautiful old footbridge that spanned the two beach cliffs.  With the twinkling oceans of the Pacific blow and seagulls playing above, it was perfect.

Their ceremony took place in the gardens of the beautiful Bornonia House in Mosman, Sydney and guests were treated to a stunning garden ceremony in the shade of a Jacaranda tree. Music and drinks followed in the gardens and the reception carried on into the late hours of the evening in a relaxed and informal manner. Perfect for this gorgeous pair.

It was such an honour to be a part of your day Laura and Elias, thank you xx
