After 7 years of capturing weddings I have met some incredibly talented people. There are many that I have worked with many times over and here are just a small few of my favourite recommends. Most are based in Cornwall & Devon but almost all will travel! Except the venues. That would be pretty hard.

Bars (because lets get the priorities right!)

The Paddock Mobile Bar  – It’s a bar. In a horse trailer. Mike and Jules own it and these two are pretty awesome!

The Garden Gate Company

Twigs & Green

Cornish Cutting Garden

Please do also look at Lancaster and Cornish who makes the most incredible natural dyed ribbon

Rosanne Abell

Suzi Winter

Tamsyn Siddiqui

Sally Orchid

Emily Haskins Cakes – hand painted perfect cakes!

Suzi Humphries Cake Design

Bridal Shops

The Wedding Hub and Rock the Frock in Plymouth. A concession in the Wedding Hub and she has Chantel Lauren…  uhhmazing!

Justin Duance – Handmade out of Cornish salvaged wood and sand casting from sand from Cornish beaches. Pretty special huh?

Pop Up Catering & Caterers

Wild Food Kitchen – locally sourced produce and wild Cornish game. Literally some of the easiest food I have ever had!

Chef In My Home – delicious spreads and totally catered to you. None of this traditional stuff.

With a Gypsy Soul Dreamcatchers – Beautiful hand made dreamcatchers for your day. Hang them from trees, make a wedding backdrop. This lady is super talented!

If you are still looking for your perfect venue, there are so many places to chose from that all offer something quite unique. But if, like me, you love to be outdoors and want to have a venue that is is by the sea or in the middle of a woodland, or you just want a space you can truly chill and have for the weekend, here are some of my favourite places I have had the pleasure of working at before.

Cornish Tipi’s – A gorgeous forest and lake side location in Mid Cornwall

The Scarlet – A stunning, luxury eco boutique hotel and spa in Cornwall with views out sea. Perfect for an intimate wedding, big wedding or elopement.

Retorrick Mill – Eclectic and truly original. A barn venue that is nothing like any other. Set amongst the trees right near the sea in Mawgan Porth in Cornwall

Carbis Bay Hotel – Luxury hotel with stunning views across the sea and a white sand beach, privately owned by the hotel a stones throw away.

fforest – Choose the beach or forest. Tucked away in a forest in beautiful Wales with gorgeous glamping accomodation for your guests and everything you need in one spot.

Prussia Cove – Nestled on the south coast of Cornwall and steeped in smuggling history, Porth En Alls and the surrounding cottages are incredible.

Tremenheere Gardens – Get married in an art installation and enjoy a party in a marquee overlooking St Michaels Mount. A perfect Cornish experience.

Elopement Venues

BoHo Cornwall – A beautiful, elegant country house situated where the moors meet the sea. BoHo Cornwall are true elopement specialists and they are wonderful. A perfect place to run away to, just the two of you, get married in a candle lit ceremony or with the sun on your shoulders in the garden.
