Hannah & Dave

I met Hannah and Dave one afternoon for a chat in London and adored them immediately. I was so thrilled when they decided that they wanted little old me there to capture their wedding! Driving down to Rye on the day of their wedding I could not wait. I knew that the day was going to be gorgeous and personal.

The George in Rye is a fabulous place. A beautiful old hotel that dates back to 1575. It is in an amazing spot in the town centre and we ustised that through the day, with Hannah and Dave keen to wander the streets for their photo session. Hannah got ready with her Mum, sister and bridesmaid before joining Dave in The Ballroom for their beautiful, heartfelt ceremony. Drinks were had downstairs in the bar area, beautifully styled by the lovely girlies at Roses All Over before heading back to The Ballroom for the meal. I adore that room… the wallpaper is just stunning and it has a feeling about it that still exudes grandure but in a non imposing way.  It has to be said, Hannah looked absolutely stunning in her The Vintage Wedding Dress Company dress and Dave looked pleased as punch all day!

It was an absolute honour to capture your day Hannah and Dave, thank you… and thank you for introducing me to The Fake Tan Band… seriously the best I’ve heard, given my dodgy appreciation for 80′s music!

pen - How have I not commented on this earlier! I was sure I did the first time I looked through these awesome images. One of my favourite weddings of yours to date. Gorgeous wedding, beautifully captured x

I have to say, those Fake Tan boys certainly get the party rocking!! Been at a wedding with them, they’re great fun!
