Wild Abandonment – A BoHo Cornwall Elopement Shoot
I love, love, love the idea of eloping… running away, just the two of you to somewhere beautiful. Saying your vows to one another in private, a perfect moment in time that only the two of you are present in.
It was while shooting Nessa and Russ’s beautiful elopement earlier this year that I got to meet Maya and Tom of BoHo Cornwall. A little part of paradise in this part of the world, a place you can run away to to be wed in a part of the country that is utterly divine. Where the barren, rambling Cornish moors meet the wild Atlantic ocean.
It is like running away to get married at the edge of the world….
So incredibly inspired but the talent in Cornwall and our shared love for elopement weddings, the three of us came together recently to work on an inspirational shoot, showcasing local suppliers and the beauty of BoHo Cornwall and the surrounding areas.
Think Wuthering Heights…. wild abandonment… windy moorlands and winter sunshine. Crazy wind stripped trees and candle lit ceremonies. An intimate and cosy table for two. Hedgerow foraged flowers and feathers making the most beautiful bouquets and jewellery inspired by the land and sea. Simple yet lovely personal touches and a whole heap of romance.
Exactly what it is to elope.
Running away from it all and sharing a perfect moment together.
It is with such huge thanks to all these amazing people who contributed towards this shoot. Every single talented soul who gave up their time and expertise to help our vision come to life. For anyone who is even considering eloping to this beautiful part of the world, or even planning a bigger wedding down here, I cannot recommend these amazing talents enough.
