BoHo Cornwall Elopement Wedding | Kate & Daniel
As I pack my bags ready for tomorrows Boho Cornwall elopement wedding, I am also peering out the window at the rain and howling winds. I know after 4.5 years living by the sea it can change in a heartbeat but something about this weather makes me feel warm. All I do know is that right now, the best place to be is next to a fire side and cuddled up under a blanked.
Last year I had the absolute privilege of capturing the marriage of Kate and Daniel at beautiful BoHo Cornwall. A magical spot that is an absolute treat to run away to to be married. Tom and Maya put true romance at the heart of all they do and anyone who marries there has the most beautiful stay with them in their lovely arts and crafts home that sits on surrounding moorlands and looks out to sea.
Kate and Daniel chose a gorgeous day in August to tie the knot. They chose to have a candlelit ceremony in the beautiful wood panelled hall of BoHo Cornwall. Afterwards, champagne and a trip in a beautiful split screen camper van down the the edge of the world , Cape Cornwall, where the waves the atlantic crash against Jurassic rocks and cliffs. A place where you can wander between colourful fishing boats and feel like you have all of Cornwall to yourselves.
We wandered, had a giggle, watched the kids jumping in the salt water rock pool, found some lovely spots and took some photographs. I even managed a few on my beloved Holga, the sky was blue and it was perfect for it. Both Kate and Daniel shed more than couple of (happy) tears during the ceremony which was so personal to them. Kate looked utterly amazing in her 50s inspired dress, Vivienne Westwood shoes and she and Daniel chose to ask the talented Cornish Cutting Garden to create their florals. Tamsyn Siddiqui was on makeup and dressing duties… when you elope we all can help get you ready.
It truly was perfect and a day to remember.
